You wont have to go far from RiverView Cottage in order to enjoy your stay. Drumnadrochit has a wide range of local shops and amenities including Post Office, medical centre, garages, restaurants and pubs.

Just outside Drumnadrochit is Urquhart Castle and it’s award winning visitors centre.

Glen Urquhart is a typical area at the ‘heart of the Highlands’.  Seldom more so than during it’s Highland Games.  These games aren’t for show but a part of the living Highland tradition.

Loch Meickle is a very short distance away.  It’s surrounding area provides for great walking and cycling.

Loch Ness offers various watery activities including boat trips, sailing and water skiing.  Then of course there is Nessie, our very own local monster.
